Ely Matson

Sifu Ely started training martial arts at a young age starting with Aikido when he was 7. Over the next 8 years he continued to explore martial arts including Kempo, Tai Chi, and Mui Thai Kickboxing.  When he was 15 he found a little school that said kung fu in Iowa City, Ia, and it changed his life forever. Sifu Ely is an inner circle student of his Sifu, Moy Yat Tung, and a member of the MY4 inner circle of his Si Gung, Grandmaster Moy Tung. With over two decades of Ving Tsun training experience Sifu Ely now teaches and shares his love of the Moy Yat Ving Tsun system in Denver, Co.
